Ben Yankowitz is an experienced corporate and securities lawyer and entrepreneur. With over 35 years of practice with national law firms, he has extensive experience in all types of business transactions, corporate and securities matters, and financial transactions for corporations, partnerships, investment funds, investor groups, commercial banks, investment banks, money managers, and financial institutions. Ben’s experience includes corporate finance and securities matters, including public offerings, private placements and foreign securities offerings and in mergers and acquisitions. Industries in which he has particular experience include Fintech, oil and gas, entertainment, health care, real estate and venture capital.
Ben has represented and consulted to a number of private investment funds, including venture capital, real estate, private equity and hedge funds. His work includes structuring the funds, advising the management companies and representing the funds on acquisitions and management of portfolio investments.
Ben has also served the President of a California-based oil and gas development company and as president and general counsel of two publicly traded small-cap that have completed reverse acquisitions of private operating companies.
